In 2019 we selected DMD Construction after a thorough competitive bid process and reference check. In 2014 we purchased a 1964 single level ranch style home that was in original condition as a vacation home. We contemplated doing an extensive remodel, but wanted to live with the home for a while before starting the project. In 2018 we completed the design work and permitting for a project which entailed the complete renovation and expansion of the home from approximately 3,100 square feet to 3,700 square feet. The project’s timetable was to commence construction in January 2019 and complete the project by August 2019.
Every home remodel has its challenges, especially when one doesn’t reside in the same area as the property you are remodeling. As a result, we agreed from the onset to meet with Danny Flores and our designer/project manager every week at the jobsite to be available to respond to questions and make decisions. The project went very smoothly, was completed on time and on budget. What was a second home is now our primary residence, and we are extremely pleased with our newly renovated home. In the first year after the completion of the project, we had a few items that needed additional work, and DMD Construction and the responsible subcontractor was prompt to follow up to complete the work required.

Danny started in the construction business when he was 13 years old working with his Uncle, Mario Balestreri, at Bethel Construction. He joined the Carpenter’s Union when he was 18. In 2001 he got his contractor’s license and started his business, DMD Construction, the following year. He specializes in building Custom Residential Homes from foundation to finish and everything in between.
